1. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing, or by emailing billing@bookroofs.com. No phone call, no retention script.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for — we do not cut you off the moment you cancel.
2. Subscription fees
- New subscriptions: 14 days. If BookRoofs is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. One per customer.
- Renewals are not automatically refundable. You keep access for the period you paid for. If a renewal caught you by surprise — you had not used the Service and had meant to cancel — email us. We would rather sort it out than argue about it.
- Partial months are not pro-rated on cancellation, because access continues to the end of the period.
- If we are at fault — a sustained outage, or a failure on our side that stopped you using the Service — tell us and we will credit or refund the affected period.
3. AI Caller usage
Calling is a pass-through cost: when a call is placed, our telephone carrier charges us for it immediately, and that money is gone whatever happens next.
- Calls already placed are not refundable. The minutes were consumed.
- Unused prepaid credit is refundable on request when you close your account.
- Calls that failed on our side — dead air, an assistant that never connected, a call billed twice — are refunded in full. Send us the date and the number; every call is logged with its duration and cost, so this is quick to check.
- Calls that connected but did not produce the outcome you wanted are not refundable. We charge for the call, not for the result.
4. Telephone numbers
- The one-off purchase fee for a number is not refundable — the carrier charges it on purchase and does not return it.
- Monthly rental stops at the end of the month in which you release the number.
- Releasing a number is permanent. It goes back to the carrier’s pool and cannot be recovered, so do not release a number printed on your vehicles or signage unless you mean it.
5. Free access and trials
Where the Service is provided free or on trial, nothing is charged and nothing is refundable. If a trial converts to a paid subscription, the 14-day term in section 2 applies from the first payment.
6. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days once approved. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
7. Chargebacks
If something looks wrong on your bill, email us first. We can usually resolve it the same day, and every call and charge is itemised, so there is a record to check.
A chargeback raised without contacting us costs us a fee whatever the outcome, and we may suspend the account while the dispute is open. That helps nobody.
8. How to ask
Email billing@bookroofs.com with the account email and what you want refunded. We reply within two business days.
This policy sits alongside the Terms of Service and does not limit any right you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
